San Marino International Arts Festival: late July – early August, workshops and seminars on contemporary arts
Each year, between late July and early August, San Marino hosts SMIAF, the International Festival of Arts and Culture of the Republic of San Marino. Street theatre, artistic performances, circus arts, installations, screenings and concerts, for a comprehensive cultural experience.
The SMIAF, the San Marino International Arts Festival, offers every year a chance to dive into contemporary arts and culture.
Seven days of arts and dancing and theatre performances, of cutting-edge installations and experiments to be dazzled by.
Cultural projects and exchanges involving internationally renowned personalities every year. This is the Festival dei Giovani Saperi (Festival of Young Knowledge), always moving with the times and always looking for new inspirations. A summer event colouring and enriching the city of San Marino with its shows, cross-cultural influences and new artists.
The program also includes an area specifically dedicated to children with educational and entertainment activities, designed to introduce even the youngest children to the arts. Music entertainments and DJ sets are organised for adults, in the evening.
