The Changing of the Guard in San Marino

If so, in San Marino you cannot miss the Changing of the Guard by the Guardia di Rocca.
The Changing of the Guard follows a rigid schedule: in summer months, it starts at 2.30 pm and it takes place every 30 minutes, in front of the Public Palace, from which you can easily see the ceremony.
The city guards are called Guardie di Rocca. They wear an ancient and very special uniform.
The dark green double-breasted jacket is embroidered with white and red details, the trousers are red with a green stripe (the gaiters can only be white), and the kepi cap has a red pom-pom on its top.
